In the Saturday issue of the Passauer Neue Presse (April 25, 2020), our Founder and Managing Director, Andreas Böhm, talks about our partnership with BioNTech and the joint effort in helping combat the coronavirus pandemic.
He goes into detail about how our data products can support the Mainz-based company with resource planning for vaccine production, and speaks of the successful, long-term cooperation between the two businesses.
“We’re in sync with each other,” explains Andreas Böhm in reference to our alliance with BioNTech. BioNTech is one of our oldest customers. The primary focus is on speed, quality, and resourcefulness.
Using artificial intelligence and special algorithms, we support BioNTech primarily in production planning and demand forecasts. Our data products ensure, for example, that the components required for the vaccine can be reordered in time.
Looking to the future, Andreas Böhm also talks about how the procurement of medical protective equipment canbe organized digitally.
